Katherine Clunis D'Andrea
Kathy Clunis D’Andrea teaches four, five, and six year-olds at the Mission Hill School and is an adjunct professor at The University of Massachusetts Boston. A passionate schoolyard ecologist and environmental activist, Kathy has spent the past several years working with scientists and educators to help children and teachers deepen their understanding of science. She is also a self-proclaimed “Playist”, advocating for play-based education and the importance of children and families connecting with the outdoors. When not in the classroom or schoolyard, Kathy is a passionate world traveler and has worked with children in the Caribbean, Africa, South America, and Europe.
