This is an opportunity for educators to engage in meaningful dialogue with current education entrepreneurs about what educators of all stripes want from EdTech.","Description":"The panel will be comprised of current members of the Education Design Studio Inc. (EDSi), a hybrid seed fund\/incubator and design thinking curriculum; will be local companies in the EdTech Space; and\/or will have come through the Milken Penn GSE Education Business Plan Competition.  \r\n\r\nThis panel is intended to be a shared learning opportunity for panelists as much as for audience members. We will consider participation on this panel as a formal, hands-on element of the EDSi curriculum. Specifically, this session will be a lesson in how to engage with customers and elicit feedback, and it will serve to deepen entrepreneurs\u2019 understanding of the education market at the grassroots (rather than district or even corporate) level. In addition, it will serve as a chance for ventures\u2019 founders to learn from front-line practitioners about what works in their classrooms and schools, how they use existing tools, what\u2019s on their wish lists, and the challenges they face, too. How can entrepreneurs and educators (who are not always mutually exclusive!) join forces to bring fruitful products and services to students, families and fellow educators?
